Great bag but small card holders. I wonder if mine is defective. The card holders are only big enough on one side and on the other side I can’t fit any cards. Otherwise it’s so cute and versatile.

My husband got the Lauren from Kickstarter as a gift for me. I use it daily on my motorcycle commute and love it. Lots of pockets and zippers for organizing. Super comfortable to wear – I appreciate nice touches like the chest fastener sitting between your shoulders instead of smashing your breasts. Rain cover works perfectly and pops out in a flash if suddenly caught in wet weather. One thing to note: my medium-sized work laptop just fits. If you are looking to pack a big 17″ laptop you may not be able to close the quick snap latches on top. Overall, stylish, comfortable, and functional. Like it so much I also bought the cute Valerie purse, which I use with and without the Lauren.

The Valerie Bag is the perfect motorcycle bag for women. It’s small enough to wear under my thermos and jacket without feeling the straps or the weight of it on my body. It holds what I need to have on a ride; phone, lip gloss, small brush, beenie, license, couple of credit cards.. I also wear it under my work shirt. Everything is right where I need it. The Lauren and Valerie bags are awesome. I’ve used them multiple times now and just love both of them. I’ve actually switched to the Valerie for my everyday clutch for work and travel. It carries both phones (hah) and all my important travel stuff. Then of course I can use it as a purse if I don’t want to lug around my typical laptop bag. I’m really loving the Valerie and have used it as my everyday bag since the first day I transferred my things from my other bag. At first I didn’t think I could fit my stuff in it but I found that I could – credit cards, bills.change, photo, lip gloss, keys, pen and a few other small things. The bag has two ‘sections’ that are expandable without adding bulk – phone and lip gloss on one side, bills, pen on the other. I really like the red accent color, the soft leather tassel, and the hardware detail, it looks smart with a low profile, overall I love my Valerie!

I thought that it was important that I provided some “male” feedback on your first bag, the Valerie.
I told my wife that I purchased a small handbag for her and that it would be arriving in a few months. Obviously, I made the purchase early, during its conceptual phase. Anyway, she just rolled her eyes and thanked me.
“Great, my husband is buying me a bag that I have to like” This is probably what she was thinking. Me? I didn’t know what to expect. But, in large, it was a way to support a local motorcycle themed business and entrepreneur.
Well, the bag arrived and I presented it to my wife. She looked at it. Opened it up and quietly inspected the interior lining. Zipped it closed. And opened it up again.
“Thank you…. its nice” Thats all I needed to hear. For the next month or so it sat on her dresser.
Fast forward, my wife and I got into our classic convertible for a three day get-away to Carmel. On our way down we stop at the local Starbucks for a couple of “Fraps”. And it was then that I saw my wife carrying the MotoChic bag.
She opened it up. Grabbed her cash and bought me a drink. I asked her what she thought of the bag and she responded that it was very convenient. Just the right size for what she needed on this trip.
She explained that it held her ID and two credit cards, cash and iPhone perfectly.
“Not too big. Thanks babe. I like it”
So we ate well at nice restaurants and the bag was proudly utilized and displayed. And it was received well as it got a couple of “cute bag!” comments.
Personally, i’m pleased to have found and purchased something that my wife likes. The quality and finish, in my picky opinion is excellent. It has a bit of flair yet it doesn’t look like its trying to be anything specific.
My wife uses the bag often.
