Touch and go, touch and go, like easing off the gas ever so slightly at just the right moment. That’s what autumn always feels like to me. I can feel the crazed joy of the holidays just around the corner. And I am not ready! LOL. The wild, carefree days of summer are becoming distant memories. And I want them back! I’m not ready to slow down, but speeding up isn’t what I need either. What I need is balance. I need the earthiness of my favorite pair of boots but not the weight of a jacket – not quite yet. I need the brisk wind cooling my cheeks as I blaze a trail to a new destination, but not so cool that I can no longer feel the heat of the sun kissing my skin. It’s that blissful harmony of autumn that I love. And I am so ready for it!
